Kibanga zone has a population of over 2000residents who live in over 800 homesteads. Early this year when I was donating jellycans to the people of the village under the project donate the jerry can campaign aimed at collecting and storing safe and clean water in a bid to prevent schistosomiasis in Young and old people. This was part of one health approach lessons which emphasizes prevention of infectious diseases like water borne diseases that is to say bilharzia. Through these lessons i educated the children and old people on how to prevent and fight these neglected tropical diseases (NTD's) i met with orphaned children who who were 10 in number and were living in an open house with a disabled, old woman who brew local alcohol as an economic activity. Due to the impact of covid-19 pandemic, the children are not going to school, have no basic needs and School requirements. The donation will help cater for the expenses in buying scholarstic requirements, basic needs like food, medical insurance, and also renovation of the house to stay in. And the laptop as a means of accessing vital information in the curriculum, e-learning any printings and typing of study materials. The estimated budget is $660 which will be used for this year until April of next year. I will be very grateful if you consider my request.
