1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Education Influence platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
3. Educator Applications
All educator applications are subject to manual review. We reserve the right to approve or reject applications at our discretion. Rejected applicants may reapply after 30 days.
4. Content Standards
All content posted to Education Influence — including profile information, blog posts, events, and projects — must be accurate, lawful, and respectful. You must not post content that is defamatory, offensive, misleading, or in violation of any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Education Influence a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the platform. You must not post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
6. Professional contact
Members contact each other through our internal professional messaging system. Personal email addresses are not displayed on public profiles. If members choose to share contact details privately in a conversation, that is their decision. Using contact information for spam, bulk marketing, or unsolicited communication is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform in any way.
8. Limitation of Liability
Education Influence is provided 'as is'. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of user-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
