"Why Storytelling?"

As one of the oldest and most effective forms of teaching, storytelling helps children learn through interactive listening. It is also an effective tool to enhance their communication skills and educate children about customs, culture, traditions, beliefs and history.

Along with boosting a child's comprehension and listening skills, it engages them to explore their vivid imagination and creativity. It also helps them to express themselves with greater confidence while allowing them to improve their memory. Listening to stories also helps children understand the world they are a part of, including their comprehension of the world while enhancing their compassion, empathy, tolerance and interest in the wellbeing of others. One of the fundamental life-learning skills children learn through storytelling is the impact of cause and effect (actions and reactions) on life and the consequences that lead to a change in perception and living.
Through the experience of listening to stories, children are provided a gateway to learning life lessons and new worlds.
